SOMA, San Francisco │ 3,000 sq. ft.

Bellusci Design provided comprehensive design and architectural services in order to bring the feel of a Tuscan winery to SOMA's urban landscape.

Exposed brick, wood rafters, and structural steel remain, while reclaimed barn wood, walnut, and redwood cedar blend with sultry fabrics and bronze tones. A titanic rack of braided iron clutches rows of crystal glasses as it descends upon an expansive horseshoe bar made of refurbished Peroba Rosa from Brazil.

At the back of the bar, a broad wine tower with sleek, arched doors houses a collection of wine from all corners of the world. The tower's amber glass emanates a warm glow, as does the candle-lit fireplace and tempered lighting. Flanking the bar, high tables are ideal for mingling and enjoying small plates while sofas make for comfortable lounging within the easy
flow space plan.
