E & O Asian Kitchen

Financial District, San Francisco │ 6,000 sq. ft.

E & O Trading company changed its name and turned to Bellusci Design for a complete redesign.

Welcoming, lounge-like, and now featuring a dramatic street presence, E & O beckons all passersby to wander inside. They are then greeted by a custom architectural, two-tier walnut wood communal table.

A few steps beyond, the main dining and bar are thematically connected to the upper level and balcony seating by floor-to-ceiling, walnut shutters. The bar features thirty feet of beautiful stone with a facade of handmade coconut palm panels. A backlit backdrop of stainless steel panels, laser cut with bamboo shapes, looms upward, also linking the two levels.

The neutral palette of warm sand tones is accented by grays, blues and coral. Beautiful furniture selections bring Southeast Asian style and materials to the décor. And a new, private dining room is accessed via an antique, Asian door, where one encounters an undulating, custom walnut table surrounded by an elegant, ocean-blue patterned wall covering.
